A bright idea

During my youthful years my parents allowed me to write on my bedroom walls.  Now that I can call myself a proud home owner, I’m not sure why they ever allowed that.  So I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them because it really helped me tap into my creative side.  One of the downsides of having a bedroom full of scribbled sayings was my three older brothers who would write stuff on my walls.  Some bad, some good, the one that stuck with me was “knowledge is good but college is better.”

Here is a bright idea: Instead of letting your kids scribble on the walls, they can chalk up their inspirational quotes on this steel sheet lamp by John Beck from http://greendepot.com

If they must draw on the walls and you approve.

Best to go with HudsonPaint’s chalkboard paint.

or Dry Erase Paint from http://idealpaint.com
