a colorful nursery full of delight

Piper picked Peter to post photos of her precious Peanut’s Playhouse.

Each month or so… we will post a kids room or nursery that we love. So all of us can dissect every delicious morsel of kiddie delight. For starters this Mom & Dad didn’t want to know the gender (which is so unheard of these days) so we worked with a neutral theme. Plus we already had some pieces  such as the crib (awesome hammy) and the dresser which belonged to Daddy pre Mommy. Since Dad painted the room with VOC free paint.  Mom figured he was going way tooo slow and was never going be done in time unless he left out the woodwork , good thing since it adds a lot of warmth to the room.

The biplane was gifted to us from grandpa prior to the baby news. We knew that if we left it up it would probably jinxs us because we now have a girl, but I figured we could add Rapunzel or Amelia to the cockpit. Currently Buzz Light year is at the helm.

Here is an easy & cost effective tip for adding art to your walls: most of the paintings were from my kindergarten Picasso days, I always wondered why I kept them and now I know. The rest of the wall is filled with art from Peanut’s cousins who are such great artists.  Side Note: The TV was in the room prior… intended solely for educational programming : )
