Tooth Fairy Pillows, Bears, Dolls & Books

If your little Kindergartner is anything like mine, I bet he or she is loosing teeth faster than you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious . It seems like every morning my Kindergartner comes running to me screaming in delight, “Mommie, Mommie, I have another wiggly tooth!” And with that, comes all the questions, why does the Tooth Fairy keep my tooth? What does she do with them? How does she carry my tooth when she is so little? What does she look like? If I stay up all night, will she still come?

As parents we have the delight in answering these questions in any way we would like. Mmmm… let’s see, maybe the Tooth Fairy is building her house out of all those teeth? Or I think she is able to carry the tooth even though she is so small because she eats all her spinach which makes very strong. And the answer to the last question is always the same, no the tooth fairy definitely will not come if you stay up all night, so you better get to bed right now!

The next question as a parent with dealing with all these teeth coming out, is what do we put the tooth in after it comes out? Well, you can use a zip lock baggie, or wrap it in toilet paper, but why not spoil your little one with these lovely Tooth Fairy delights. They are home made, hand made tooth fairy pillows, bears, and dolls.

I also found this gorgeous Tooth Fairy book that you can put your child’s very special tooth in, and record all the tooth fairy visits.

You can also read Charming Opal by Toot & Puddle. A cute book which deals with another question surrounding the Tooth Fairy, “How does the Tooth Fairy know where to go when someone with a lost tooth is away from home?” Mmmmm… I will let the book tackle that one!

I’m curious, what is the going rate for a tooth these days? Last time I heard it was a $1 and i thought that seemed high.

Super cute homemade toys! I am just so fascinated by the creativity of others! About the “going rate” – the kids I used to nanny for a few years ago got $5’s or $10’s, or even full-fledged wrapped gifts! Sometimes I wondered how the tooth fairy could possibly carry everything! I’m thinking one day I’ll go for the old fashioned 25 cents and just plain fun factor of it all!
